Pandell Acquires Jobutrax Field Ticketing Solution
Pandell Technology Corporation, a pioneer of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions to the energy industry, announced today that it has acquired Jobutrax, a web-based oilfield field ticketing solution. The acquisition includes the software product, its associated resource team, and a growing customer base of oilfield service companies in Canada and the United States. Specific terms of the deal were not disclosed. However, the purchase was described as an all cash transaction.
Jobutrax enables oilfield services personnel to quickly create field tickets using their mobile devices. The application auto-populates employee, equipment, pricing, materials, and service items, to speed up the process of creating a ticket and its associated invoice. Field tickets are then available online to oil and gas producers, where they can be reviewed and approved in real time.
“We’re thrilled with the opportunity to extend the Jobutrax solution to Pandell’s client base,” says Mark Hewitt, President of Jobutrax. “Integrating our field ticket automation with Pandell’s AP invoice automation and AFE tracking systems will streamline the billing process right from the field to the head office. This will help lower operating costs for everyone.”
“Jobutrax is an exciting addition to our suite of oil and gas software solutions,” says Greg Chudiak, Pandell’s President and CEO. “With it, we’ll be able to provide greater value to our E&P clients through an end-to-end integrated process that covers field ticketing, AP invoicing, AFE tracking, and accounting.” With more than 450 energy companies using Pandell’s software applications today, this acquisition further solidifies Pandell’s market position as the leading provider of integrated financial, operations, and land solutions to the energy industry.
