Outlook Style Interface
PLI ensures application users are comfortable by providing AJAX-based rich web interfaces that are easy-to-use and adhere to an industry standard look and feel (inspired by Microsoft Outlook). This reduces application training costs while increasing both user satisfaction and productivity.
Reporting
When it comes to reporting, PLI harnesses it’s reporting and export engines to deliver on-demand or scheduled reports for the most demanding requirements. Reports can include a combination of tabular and graphically formatted information. It also enables users to readily export information into a wide range of standard formats (e.g. Excel, XML).
Business Workflows
PLI orchestrates and streamlines complex business workflows involving different people, documents, forms, data, and applications. Along the way, PLI's notification system keeps users informed of state changes, and the auditing engine ensures all workflow history is captured.
Audit Tracking
Government regulations and corporate standards require a certain level of auditing control. With a PLI application you know exactly who did what, and when they did it. All user actions including data changes (down to field level value changes) and workflow events are recorded and the entire history is easily reviewable on demand.
Electronic Forms
Rich web-based entry forms are configurable in PLI allowing data to be securely captured. By integrating with PLI's workflow and security engines, data can be securely captured, manipulated, approved, managed, and reported on according to specific corporate policies and requirements.
Document Management
PLI allows any type of document to be uploaded and shared. Documents integrate into the PLI security engine allowing them to be restricted to given individuals, roles, teams, or departments. And since PLI is web accessible, documents have the potential to be retrieved globally.
Security
PLI contains a flexible security engine, designed to meet to most demanding enterprise needs. User access is controlled with a standard user/role model or with more complex paradigms that cover security for workgroups, departments, or divisional hierarchies. Additionally, single sign-on through network security can be provided to provide seamless access for users to their PLISolution.
Notification
PLI ensures an organization is running efficiently by automatically notifying users of work they need to complete via emails complete with secure links into their PLISolution. You can count on items to get approved, reviewed, and edited in a timely fashion!
