Branham300 - Top Canadian Technology Companies

Years: 2011, 2010, 2005

The Branham300 is the most comprehensive listing of publicly traded and privately held IT companies in Canada. Published annually, the Top 250 Canadian Technologies Companies list recognizes companies with strong growth, boosting revenues and is a leader in Canada’s ICT industry. Results are publicized in annual edition profiles online at branham300.com.

Rankings are based on company revenues over a fiscal year period. Branham300 also recognizes top Multinational, Up & Coming, Movers & Shakers and Top Growth companies across Canada every year.


Alberta Venture Magazine - Alberta's Fast Growth 50

Years: 2011, 2010, 2009, 2000

Fast Growth 50The Fast Growth 50 list recognizes growth-oriented businesses in Alberta and is produced annually by Alberta Venture and KPMG LLP. Companies selected for the list are featured in the January issue of Alberta Venture.

The rankings are based on points assessed in 10 different categories over a three year period including growth in gross sales, assets, profitability and employees; as well as product development, incentive programs, investment in research & development, capital expenditures, marketing, and export activity.

CAPLA - 2011 Champions Award

CAPLA AwardsThe Canadian Association of Petroleum Land Administration (CAPLA) Champions Award, awarded by the Board of Directors, recognizes corporations who have supported CAPLA through partnerships, sponsorships and encouraging their employees to become involved with CAPLA initiatives.

Pandell was recognized for its ongoing support of CAPLA Programs including the CAPLA Conference, Adopt a Course, Networking Lunches and various information sessions held at our Downtown Centre.

Alberta Venture - 2009 Best Places to Work Finalist

Pandell Technology Corporation was honoured by Alberta Venture Inc. as an Alberta’s Best Workplace finalist in the Millennials category. The unveiling event identified Alberta-based employers who’ve exceeded the industry standard in providing excellent work environments.

Companies were named in 12 key categories reflecting common employer and employee interest areas. The Millennial category identifies companies that provide an appealing and rewarding work environment for people in their 20’s; a group that currently makes up the largest growing sector of the Alberta workforce.

Calgary Inc. - 2008 Best Places to Work

Pandell is one of fourteen Calgary companies named by Calgary Inc. Magazine and Leger Marketing as one of Calgary’s 2008 Best Places to Work. Highlighted in the July/August 2008 feature issue.

Calgary's Best Places to Work are selected as a result of an extensive evaluation process. Rankings are based on the themes of leadership, corporate culture, corporate responsibility, employee benefits and corporate reputation, the online survey captures employees' attitudes about their company and others.

PROFIT Magazine - 2005 Canada's Fastest-Growing Companies

PROFIT Magazine announced Pandell as one of 2005 rising business stars in Canada. With a NEXT 100 ranking, Pandell is seen with a tight focus to achieve rapid expansion in the software solutions industry.

The PROFIT NEXT 100 table ranks the 200 fastest-growing companies in Canada by percentage revenue growth from 2000-05.


Canadian E-Business Leadership Client Award

One of Pandell's clients, Golder Associates was formally awarded the Canadian E-Business Leadership B2B Large Enterprise Award at a gala evening held in Vancouver, BC, on October 3, 2002.

The Canadian E-Business Leadership Awards are held each year to honor and provide strong examples of successful implementation of e-business and Internet technology by Canadian companies.

The award winning submission featured Golder's "Global Knowledge Network". The application furthered Golder's ability to leverage the strength and depth of its people talent by sharing corporate documents, knowledge, project and business information more effectively throughout it's global operations.

Alberta E-Business Leadership Client Finalist

Pandell's clients, Telus Communications and Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers (CAPP) were nominated as finalists in the B2B Large and Not-For-Profit categories, respectively, at the 2001 Alberta E-Business Leadership Awards.

The Alberta E-Business Leadership Awards are held each year to honour and provide strong examples of successful of digital business technology by Alberta companies.

PROFIT Magazine - Canada's Hot 50 Start-ups

In 2000 Pandell was recognized nationally as the 37th Hottest Startup in the second annual ranking of “Canada’s Hottest Startups” by PROFIT, the Magazine for Canadian Entrepreneurs.

Canada’s Hottest Startups highlights fast-growth young companies ranked by revenue growth over the past two years: from fiscal 1998 to fiscal 2000.

Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Finalist

In October of 2000, three of Pandell's employees were selected as finalists for the Ernst & Young Prairies Entrepreneur of the Year Awards. President & CEO Greg Chudiak, Vice President of Systems Rob Martin, and Vice President of Research & Development David Beresford were selected as finalists by an independent judging panel in the E-Business Industry Category.

The Entrepreneur Of The Year awards is the world’s pre-eminent reward and recognition program for entrepreneurial talent. Since 1992, the the program has showcased the innovation, drive and inspiration that fuel Canada's business economy.
