Situation

In an ongoing effort to streamline their business processes, the Event Media Services Group at Telus was seeking a solution that would eliminate the need for their staff to manually process work orders and billing information for every online event.

They required a fully automated, online order entry and billing process that would reduce employee workloads and diminish the possibility of costly processing errors.

Solution

Pandell, working in partnership with Microsoft Canada, delivered a portal solution to Telus that fully automates their order entry and billing process for the Event Media Services Group.

The easy-to-use, web-based solution allows Telus staff to pre-setup media services events through a structured workflow process. Handling of media events is fully integrated with Microsoft's streaming media services technology.

Results

Pandell delivered Telus’ application within budget over a short 12-week period. By shifting from a cumbersome manual-based system to online processing with Pandell’s Liquid Intelligence, Telus is realizing several significant benefits.

The solution has dramatically streamlined and automated Telus' internal work order and billing process for managing web events.
