Pandell Gets Honorable Mention as One of Alberta's Best Workplaces

Feb 27 2009 | Corporate

Calgary, AB – (February 27, 2009) At a reception held in Edmonton this week, Pandell Technology Corporation was honored by Alberta Venture Inc. as an Alberta’s Best Workplace finalist in the Millennials category. The unveiling event identified Alberta-based employers who’ve exceeded the industry standard in providing excellent work environments. Companies were named in 12 key categories reflecting common employer and employee interest areas. The Millennial category identifies companies that provide an appealing and rewarding work environment for people in their 20’s; a group that currently makes up the largest growing sector of the Alberta workforce.

“We attribute a great deal of our company’s success to the skills and talent that Millennials bring to our business,” says Joel Pollard, Pandell’s Vice President Products and Support. “It’s a great achievement for us to know that the strategies we’ve put in place attract and retain this key employee group.”

“Having a good balance between my work life and my off-work life is important to me and Pandell enables me to maintain that balance,” says Cleave Whitaker, Pandell Developer and Millennial employee. “I don’t want to work somewhere where I have to fit into a cookie-cutter mold, or where I’m made to feel expendable. Pandell goes out of its way to make sure guys [and gals] like me want to come to work, and that we’re appreciated for the value we bring to the company.”

“We’re honored to be in the company of some of the largest and most successful organizations in Alberta that offer great workplaces for Millennials,” says Greg Chudiak, Pandell’s President and CEO. “We congratulate Ernst and Young LLP, as well as our co-finalists NAIT and TELUS, for recognizing and providing workplaces that appreciate the unique needs of the Millennial generation.”

Why SaaS Matters for Energy and Land Management

For energy and land teams, SaaS is less about chasing new technology and more about enabling better ways of working. Cloud-based platforms support collaboration across teams, provide secure access to data from anywhere, and reduce the operational overhead of maintaining on-premises applications.

At Pandell, these principles guide how modern land and project tools are built and supported, helping organizations stay current as regulations, data volumes, and workflows continue to evolve.
