Pandell Technology Corp. Awarded National Research Council Grant

Jan 13 2010 | Corporate

Calgary, AB – (January 13, 2010) Pandell Technology Corporation, a pioneer of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions for the energy and government sectors, announced today that it has been awarded a significant grant through Canada’s Research Council’s Industrial Research Assistance Program (NRC-IRAP).

The NRC-IRAP is designed to help Canadian small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) meet the technological challenges they face in delivering new products, processes or services. Pandell will use its IRAP grant toward building out its next generation Pandell Liquid Intelligence (PLI) application platform. This new platform will be used as the foundation for rebuilding the company’s current legacy software products using the SaaS paradigm. The project is currently underway and is scheduled to complete in December 2010.

“We are confident that the results from this project will further extend Pandell’s competitive advantage in delivering modern, affordable solutions to our customers through a SaaS model,” says Greg Chudiak, Pandell’s President and CEO. “The work that we are doing is truly at the forefront of the industry’s shift toward this new business model.”
