Murphy Oil Corporation Signs-on to Pandell’s AFENexus™ for its Global Operations
Calgary, AB – (Dec 15, 2011) Pandell Technology Corporation announced today that Murphy Oil USA, Inc., a subsidiary of Murphy Oil Corporation, has selected Pandell's AFENexus software as the sole authorized AFE management software solution for its global operations. The agreement endorses all of Murphy's operating subsidiaries worldwide, both onshore and offshore, to implement AFENexus software to effectively create, approve, and track their AFEs.
Murphy Oil USA is the second subsidiary of Murphy Oil Corporation to implement AFENexus. Murphy Oil Company, Ltd., headquartered in Calgary, has been using AFENexus since 2003. The Director of Upstream IT Business Systems for Murphy Oil USA cited that one of the Corporation's primary reasons for selecting the web-based AFENexus product was its inherent capability to offer a unified global solution to the Company's divisions with easy access across its corporate intranet.
Houston's Onshore Projects Division is the first US division to implement the system. The project work is in the final stages of configuration with the system being rolled out into production in January 2012. Other Murphy Oil operating divisions have initiated planning activities for their implementations. Ultimately, the AFENexus solution will support hundreds of users situated across the different operating divisions within Murphy Oil.
