Pandell Releases Version 3.4 of GeoNexus Land Management Software

May 16 2011 | Product News

Calgary, AB – (May 16, 2011) Pandell Technology Corporation, a pioneer of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions for the energy and government sectors, announced today that it has released version 3.4 of its web-based land management software, GeoNexus™.

The new release focuses on improving speed with the inclusion of a new ultra-fast Data-Cache architecture; adding a new Projects feature; and minor restructuring enhancements to refine overall performance. Key benefits to users include:

  • Increased Speed – users will now see a quicker response when it comes to Acreage Reporting, Mineral and Surface leases, Contracts and Well abstracts up to 93% faster
  • New Projects feature – this added feature enables the ad-hoc grouping of documents. View Project Summary and Integrity Reports, filter Mineral Lease Property Report by project and print multiple mineral leases and well abstracts.
  • Improved Performance – a new architecture layer enables quarter sections to be entered into US land records (ie: s/nw5, ne/sw10) and Working Interests are now displayed on the Expiry Report (instead of Rental Interests).

“This major version release includes a newly developed data-cache framework which significantly enhances the overall performance of the system,” says Terry Wray, GeoNexus Product Manager. “With this modified platform, users will benefit from a better, faster and more enhanced land system. And this is only the beginning, as we will continue to roll out value-adding features this year.”

GeoNexus has been providing land management excellence to the energy industry for over ten years and today it is the only web-based land management solution. Over 100 companies in Western Canada are using it to manage their land information. GeoNexus is available from Pandell as part of a full-service software solution for one low subscription-based monthly fee. To request a product demonstration, please contact Sales at 1.855.726.3355.
