Murphy Exploration & Production Company Goes Live on AFENexus

Mar 26 2012 | Product News

Calgary, AB – (Mar 26, 2012) Pandell Technology Corporation announced today that it has successfully delivered and launched the first phase of its web-based AFENexus solution to Murphy Exploration & Production Company (EXPRO), headquartered in Houston. Extensive production work began in January following an announcement in late 2011 that Murphy Oil Corporation had selected AFENexus as the sole authorized AFE management software solution for its global upstream operations. AFENexus is now in use by over 100 Murphy EXPRO personnel; enabling them to create, track, and approve AFEs over the company's intranet. Project work will continue to roll out in a series of development and system integration phases over the coming months.

"The first phase of the Murphy project progressed smoothly and we delivered our AFENexus solution with all of the specialized configuration Murphy needed. This can be attributed to our well-groomed implementation process, an experienced project management team, and an effective feedback loop with stakeholders," says Greg Chudiak, Pandell's President and CEO. "We're looking forward to continuing to deliver enhanced service and project work to Murphy."

Murphy EXPRO is the second subsidiary of Murphy Oil Corporation to implement AFENexus. Murphy Oil Company Ltd. (Canadian division) has been using AFENexus since 2004. Other divisions have initiated planning activities for their implementations. Ultimately, the AFENexus solution will support hundreds of users across Murphy Oil Corporation's international operations.
