Pandell Releases EANexus 3.0 at the Society of Petroleum Engineer’s 2012 Hydrocarbon Economics Evaluation Symposium

Oct 01 2012 | Product News, Events

Calgary, AB – (Oct 1, 2012) On Sepember 24th and 25th Pandell showcased the release of its new economic analysis software, EANexus Version 3.0, to an audience of 200 petroleum engineers, analysts, and industry professionals attending the SPE HEES Conference in Calgary. Conference attendees responded favorably to the modern and functional new application design, streamlined data entry, and the opportunity to analyze their project work faster than ever before.

EANexus 3.0 includes a modernized user interface, a redesigned calculation engine that runs economics on a monthly basis, and improved workflows within the economic module. Two key improvements include the ability to launch both monthly and annual reports from within an economic entity or consolidation, and the handling of multiple decline segments in the same evaluation year of an economic case. Many enhancements were also incorporated to improve the user experience.

“One of the release objectives of version 3.0 was to make it so straightforward, users can have EANexus installed and be running their project economics in as little as 10 minutes, even if they’ve never laid eyes on it before,” says John Pongo, EANexus Product Manager. “The system’s project focus makes it ideally suited to startup companies looking for single well economics, or larger companies doing field development or acquiring properties.”

Petrox Resources Corporation is one of the first companies to install EANexus version 3.0 in its organization. Glenn Cartier, President and CEO of Petrox says, “As a startup company, one of our main objectives is to access funds to support our capital program. EANexus 3.0 bridges the gap between our technical analysis and what our potential investors need to make a decision. We chose EANexus over other products because it’s affordable and it has just the right amount of functionality to meet our needs now, as well as to scale with us as our company grows.”

Why SaaS Matters for Energy and Land Management

For energy and land teams, SaaS is less about chasing new technology and more about enabling better ways of working. Cloud-based platforms support collaboration across teams, provide secure access to data from anywhere, and reduce the operational overhead of maintaining on-premises applications.

At Pandell, these principles guide how modern land and project tools are built and supported, helping organizations stay current as regulations, data volumes, and workflows continue to evolve.
