Pandell Named a Top 5 Growth Champion in Alberta’s High-Tech Sector

Jan 15 2013 | Corporate

Calgary, AB – (Jan 15, 2013) With the relocation of its head office to a bright new building, and the successful launch of two innovative new software products to the energy industry, Pandell Technology Corporation is proving why it’s been named one of Alberta’s fastest growing companies of 2013.

Alberta Venture’s Fast Growth 50 list showcases Alberta-based businesses that have demonstrated significant growth in revenue, assets, net earnings and employees over a three-year period. Pandell is one of five companies representing Alberta’s high-tech sector in this year’s roundup of movers and shakers.

“In addition to increasing our oil and gas client base this year, a lot of our growth comes from expanding our O&G solutions offerings,” says Greg Chudiak, Pandell’s President and CEO. “We’ve achieved successful outcomes because we’re continuously re-investing revenues back into our products, technology, and people; and that enables us to deliver ongoing value-add to the industry.”

Pandell’s inclusion in this year’s list is an indication of the company’s ability to ride out the fluctuations in the economy and maintain its long-term vision of growth. “Our software-as-a-service business model provides a stable, low fee-structure for our customers, while providing the necessary revenue stream for us to continually enhance our products and services,” says Chudiak. “It’s a win-win partnership with our clients, and it will only get better as we continue to grow.”

Pandell is profiled in the January issue of Alberta Venture magazine and will be formally recognized during a reception on February 12th at the Telus Convention Centre in Calgary.

Why SaaS Matters for Energy and Land Management

For energy and land teams, SaaS is less about chasing new technology and more about enabling better ways of working. Cloud-based platforms support collaboration across teams, provide secure access to data from anywhere, and reduce the operational overhead of maintaining on-premises applications.

At Pandell, these principles guide how modern land and project tools are built and supported, helping organizations stay current as regulations, data volumes, and workflows continue to evolve.
