Sep 03 2015 | Corporate, Product News

Calgary, AB – (Sep 03, 2015) We are pleased to announce the completion of a $500k hosting infrastructure upgrade that was undertaken to support the aggressive growth of our energy client base. Over the course of several months, new hardware was purchased and installed in our customer data hosting facility, Q9 Networks Inc., located in Calgary. The upgrade ensures our ongoing ability to deliver hosted solutions with maximum capacity, reliability, and performance.

The major technology upgrade included the addition of eight new high-end Dell Blade servers, 10 TB of disk storage, 10 TB of solid state drive storage, 100TB in backup capability, and redundant Cisco network switching. Our IT team spent hundreds of hours purchasing, architecting, installing, configuring, and seamlessly transitioning our clients over to the new environment. In operation now for over a month, the new high performance application hosting environment is expected to support growth of our customer base for the next three to five years.
