Pandell Recognized for Giving $400,000 In Software to Colleges in U.S. and Canada

Apr 25 2019 | Community

Calgary, AB – April 25, 2019 During the 2018-2019 academic year, students at the West Virginia University (WVU) in the southern U.S. and at Olds College in western Canada got a taste of work experience through industry-standard land management software donated by Pandell.

Pandell’s LandWorks™ and LandRite™ software sets were gifted to WVU’s Davis College Energy Land Management Program and Olds College’s Surface Land Management Program, respectively, carrying a combined commercial value of $400,000. The technology donations provide full-time students and faculty with access to modern tools for managing land rights, surface and mineral leases, deeds, rights-of-way, permits and contracts, stakeholder communication, and more.

During WVU’s 2019 Scholarship & Stewardship Banquet held on April 11th, Pandell was recognized for its support and awarded the Davis College Corporate Partner of the Year.

“We’re honored to support the students at both WVU and Olds College,” says Greg Chudiak, Pandell’s President and CEO. “Since students don’t always have the opportunity to access the latest tech tools used in the industry, providing our software to educational communities helps us contribute to the success of future high performers in the energy and regulatory sectors.”
