Pandell Partners with CAPLA® to Create “Hot Button Series”

Mar 22 2019 | Corporate

March 22, 2019 Calgary, AB – Pandell and the Canadian Association of Petroleum Land Administration (CAPLA) are pleased to announce a cooperative annual program designed to rapidly disseminate information on current issues and breaking news in the petroleum industry.

The new Hot Button Series is offered to CAPLA members and non-members. It provides opportunities to attend speaker sessions that present unbiased information from experts on regulatory, political, and environmental issues immediately relevant to Canadians and the energy sector. The program differs from other CAPLA learning programs in that sessions are spontaneously scheduled in response to breaking news and timely issues. Attendees are given an opportunity to ask questions in a ‘town-hall’ meeting format following the presentation.

“We’re onboard with this program because today it’s more important than ever for land professionals to be on top of changes in our industry,” says Terry Wray, Pandell Customer Support & Land Specialist. “This event series will enable CAPLA members to acquire information from credible, knowledgeable sources so they can make more informed business decisions.”

“CAPLA is fortunate to have Pandell’s support for this new program because with their help, our members will be better able to keep a finger on the pulse of impactful issues,” says Michael Flynn, Executive Director of CAPLA. “We thank Pandell for their support and their contributions towards the professional development of our members.”

The frequency of sessions will be determined on a need-to-have basis.
