Pandell Donates $20k to Canadian & US Food Banks
December 16, 2020 (Calgary) – Today Pandell donated $10k to the Calgary Food Bank and $10k to the Houston Food Bank to support both organizations’ efforts to provide food and essentials to struggling Canadian and US families this holiday season.
“These are the communities in which most of our employees live and work; we really wanted to do something to help our neighbors, especially now, when the need is so great,” remarked Greg Chudiak, Pandell’s President and CEO. “While the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted all of us in different ways, I can think of few things more stressful than wondering how you’ll put food on the table for family and loved ones. The Calgary Food Bank distributed over 98,000 food hampers during 2019, and sadly, predicts even greater demand this year. The organization is the first line of emergency food support for families and individuals facing crisis.
