TC Energy Chooses Pandell Software
November 24, 2020 – Calgary, Alberta, Canada – Today we are pleased to announce TC ENERGY CORPORATION (formerly TransCanada Pipelines Limited), one of the largest pipeline, storage, and power companies in North America, has contracted Pandell to be its long term technology partner in delivering its state-of-the-art, fully integrated land management solution.
This new end-to-end digital solution will give TC Energy’s land and project teams powerful, web-based tools to manage new development projects, land asset M&A, complex land payments, right-of-way provisions, and landowner communications, with the benefit of advanced reporting and smart analytics throughout.
At the core of TC Energy's Land and GIS suite will be Pandell LandWorks, Pandell GIS, and the Pandell Executive Dashboard (XD), which together will provide a fully cloud-hosted, modern management system for the company's land agreement, payments, asset analysis, and reporting. From there, Pandell Projects, Pandell Roads, Pandell Crossings, and Pandell Connect (a land information portal), will deliver specialized land acquisition and right of way tools for managing digital workflows, contracts, and external communications. The complete solution will be integrated with the company’s Esri® GIS mapping system, SAP® financial system, Opentext™ document management system, and other key internal network systems to enable Single Sign-on (SSO), email and calendar integration, secure bi-directional data sharing, and business intelligence reporting across teams.
As part of its Software-as-a-Service business model (SaaS), Pandell will host and manage TC Energy’s land software through its certified cloud hosting services. Pandell will also provide turn-key project services including software implementation, land records digitization & conversion, GIS mapping, user training, and transition support services.
