Repsol Global Energy Supplier Chooses Pandell

Sep 15 2020 | Corporate

September 15, 2020 – Calgary, Alberta, Canada – Pandell announces REPSOL, a global multi-energy provider, has contracted Pandell as its land and GIS software technology partner and will implement Pandell’s Land Software Suite in Q1, 2021.

Pandell will provide Repsol a single, integrated solution that serves as the source of truth for Repsol’s land rights and will enable its users to move seamlessly between land records and spatial data in the GIS. The company will access its acquisition projects, land records tabular data, mapped land rights, wind turbine and other facility data, scanned documents, and accounting data, all from Pandell’s application suite.

Repsol’s new cloud-hosted Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) land solution will integrate with its SAP financial solution and Alfresco DMS to enable end-to-end process management for Opportunity Management, Project Planning, Asset Management and Land Management. Key factors to Repsol’s selection of the Pandell Land Suite included ease of use, robust reporting capabilities, dynamical ties into GIS, and excellent customer service. A Repsol representative also noted that transparency into payment approval workflows and other obligation reminders that Pandell’s Land toolset offers will also benefit day-to-day operations. Product implementation will begin with Repsol’s operations in Spain and follow with its international operations.

Why SaaS Matters for Energy and Land Management

For energy and land teams, SaaS is less about chasing new technology and more about enabling better ways of working. Cloud-based platforms support collaboration across teams, provide secure access to data from anywhere, and reduce the operational overhead of maintaining on-premises applications.

At Pandell, these principles guide how modern land and project tools are built and supported, helping organizations stay current as regulations, data volumes, and workflows continue to evolve.
