Calgary, Alberta, Canada – Today Pandell announces ALLETE Inc., a leading US provider of transmission infrastructure and other energy-centric businesses in the Upper Midwest, has selected Pandell’s Land & GIS Software Suite and Business Services to transform its existing paper-driven land management processes into a digital management platform equipped for the future.
Pandell will implement its full end-to-end solution including Pandell LandWorks, Pandell GIS, and Pandell Projects – the core of ALLETE’s new Land & GIS Suite. These web-based, hosted applications are tightly integrated to foster real-time communication, faster process workflow, and greater accuracy between stakeholders. Users and decision makers will be able to easily view project and operational data against corresponding layers of GIS spatial data. ALLETE will also implement Pandell’s new mobile app for field agents, and its Executive Dashboard with dynamic, customizable reporting for senior management. Integration will be provided to the company’s core financial system.
The project will also include Pandell providing professional land data digitization and GIS mapping services. Pandell’s team will convert more than 30,000 historical scanned land files; a process that involves abstracting and verifying the land data, and GIS mapping each file using a combination of artificial intelligence, experienced land record analysis, and skilled GIS mapping. This will create a complete, accurate historical database from which land system stakeholders will be able to dynamically search and filter on any land agreement and attributes tracked in the system.
