Event Canceled

To support the health and safety of the Pandell community and reduce the spread of the COVID-19 virus, the Pandell Users Conference 2020 has been canceled.

  • The Conference for Pandell Software Users

It is our great pleasure to announce the 2020 Pandell Users Conference happening May 10-13, 2020, at the World Famous ‘Castle in the Rockies’ in Banff, Alberta, Canada. We extend a warm welcome to our Canadian, American, and global clients working in land, GIS, operations, financial management and accounting.

Within the majestic halls of the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel, we're bringing together business leaders and technology users from every corner of the energy sector – upstream O&G, pipelines, midstream, renewables, utilities, mining, land brokerages, and field services – for a few days of future-focused learning and planning.

The Must-Do Users Conference of 2020

Engage with the community of Pandell and LandWorks software users for three days of industry-driven business sessions, product and integration workshops, hands-on learning opportunities, and an exclusive presentation by Pandell President, Greg Chudiak, on the exciting path we’re forging to craft the future of energy software.

    Why Here? Why Now?

Banff has been protector to thousands of plant and animal species for centuries. Through harsh winters and hot summers, the mountains provide an ecosystem that keeps them flourishing. We’re driving to do the same for our energy clients; to provide a strong foundation for weathering changes in the economic climate and supporting their needs for a lifetime.

    Why Should You Attend?

We’re not just your software provider – we’re your partner in creating new and innovative ways to increase the value of your technology tools to your business. The Pandell Conference will give you a seat at the table where discussions about cross-product data integration, workflow automation, and priorities for future development will take place.

Exploring the Natural Beauty of Banff

For an additional fee of $150 CAD / $115 USD, enjoy a private bus tour of iconic banff sights; an exhilarating gondola ride; and a delicious lunch at the summit of sulphur mountain.

    Start your Sunday morning

Kick off the first day in Banff boarding a warm, comfortable coach and embarking on an exciting visit to several iconic sights of Banff, including the roaring Bow Falls, the pristine Lake Minnewanka, and the “oh wow!” view at Surprise Corner. During your tour you’ll have the opportunity to venture down peaceful pine-scented trails and learn about Banff’s wildlife habitat and behaviour. Don’t forget your camera to capture the wildlife you’re likely to spot on your tour.

After your up-close scenic tour, you’ll soar to the summit of Sulphur Mountain in a modern gondola cabin with breathtaking views.

Sit back and relax in a four passenger, modern glass enclosed gondola. Marvel at the unsurpassed view of Banff, the Bow Valley, and a six snow-capped mountain ranges from 2,281 meters (7,486 feet) above sea level.

You’ll feel like you’re on top of the world when you’re standing on the spacious main level observation deck where the Sulphur Mountain Boardwalk leads you to the Cosmic Ray Station National Historic Site and Sanson’s Peak Meteorological Station.

The state-of-the-art summit facility has a restaurant, coffee shop, interactive interpretive exhibits, a multi-sensory theatre, gift shops, and a 360-degree rooftop observation deck.

You’ll top off your amazing experience with a delicious mountaintop meal, served fresh and market-style at the Northern Lights Restaurant.

    The Finer Details

    • The gondola ride takes about 10 minutes from base to summit.
    • Dress warm! The summit is 10 degrees Celsius colder than the base of the mountain.
    • Spend as much time at the top of the mountain as you like. If you want to include more exercise in your day, additional walking and stairs are plentiful on the summit boardwalk – a 1 kilometer self-guided tour.
    • You can either ride the gondola back down, or take a ~30 minute trek down the mountain through the towering pines.
    • This activity is approximately 5 hours, departing from the hotel at 8:30 am and returning at 1:30 pm. It is appropriate for all ages and fitness levels.
    • Add this activity to your conference registration for an additional $150 CAD ($115 USD) /per person.
