Pandell Launches EANexus Case Wizard

Mar 31 2009 | Product News

Calgary, AB – (March 31, 2009) Pandell Technology Corporation announced today the release of EANexus v.2.5 software, which now includes a petroleum economic analysis Case Wizard. The Case Wizard guides engineers and geologists through the rapid development of well cases and comprehensive economic analyses. With its step-by-step directions, pre-set data-defined default options, and up-to-date industry equations, it makes EANexus the most concise and easy-to-use O&G economics software product in Canada.

The EANexus Case Wizard is the first software tool to substantially assist junior and intermediate companies overcome the challenge of acquiring and evaluating fundamental economic information about their assets. It provides a distinct solution for producers who do not currently generate or efficiently run economic cases because competing software products are too complex and time-consuming to operate. The EANexus Case Wizard provides a common sense solution for companies, without requiring an on-staff economics expert to achieve it.

"For Alberta's start-up and junior companies to make it though these tough economic times, its more critical than ever that they obtain an accurate view of their production economics," says Ed Poth, P.Eng., Pandell's Petroleum Economic Analysis Specialist. "Instead of floundering around guessing about the economic status of their assets, they finally have a usable and affordable tool for getting out of the dark."

EANexus is economic, budgeting and reserves reporting software recognized for its time-saving features including batch file edits, automatic price deck updates, and built-in Case Wizard. Junior and intermediate oil and gas companies choose EANexus because: it outperforms other software by enabling 46% faster merger, acquisition, and well-case evaluations; 4 out of 5 reservoir analysts using EANexus report more accurate cash-flow forecasting and faster creation of capital and production budgets; and, it is the only economics tool to optimize performance with data-defined defaults, intelligent decline analysis, and controlled data sharing with AFE systems.
