Pandell Releases Version 4.0 of JVNexus™ Financial Accounting Software

Oct 15 2013 | Product News

Calgary, AB – (October 15, 2013) Pandell announces Version 4.0 of JVNexus financial accounting software. This major version release responds to changing industry demands by migrating JVNexus’ current backend database from SAP Advantage Database Server, to Microsoft SQL Server. This significant change provides Pandell’s E&P clients with better system performance and stability, lays the groundwork for more technologically-advanced enhancements to be delivered in the future, and facilitates tighter data integration between JVNexus and Pandell’s other financial and land software applications.

Microsoft SQL Server’s highly scalable database will drive better system performance for all JVNexus users, and more specifically, Pandell’s larger, intermediate-sized clients. A significant number of junior and intermediate energy companies already have SQL Server in-house. These companies will be able to migrate JVNexus into their existing IT environment with little disruption. In addition, JVNexus 4.0 includes an integrated database conversion utility, which will prevent additional IT work for Pandell’s clients.

“Microsoft SQL Server is a powerful database capable of supporting Pandell’s rapidly growing clients,” says Kathy Dodds, Pandell’s Senior Product Coordinator. “By moving to SQL Server, we’ve ensured a more scalable and solid backbone for companies that are processing a quarter million GL transactions per month and over a 100,000 BOE/day. Plus we’ve set the stage for some exciting, ground-breaking functionality to be delivered to all of our JVNexus clients in the near future.”
