Pattern Energy Chooses Pandell
August 7, 2021 (Calgary) – Today Pandell announces Pattern Energy, one of the world’s largest private renewable energy companies, has selected Pandell to deliver its industry-leading land management software solution in 2021. The deal makes Pandell the premier land software supplier to the top producing wind energy companies in America.
Pandell’s integrated, end-to-end workflow and data management platform will enable Pattern’s land and project teams to significantly improve how they manage new development projects, land asset M&A, complex land payments, right-of-way provisions, and landowner communications. Plus, teams across the organization from lease administrators to executives will gain simple-to-use, new reporting and GIS mapping capabilities that far exceed what they’ve had to date.
The suite will be comprised of Pandell’s core land products: Pandell LandWorks and Pandell GIS, which together will provide a fully cloud-hosted system for managing land agreements, payments, asset analysis, and reporting. In addition, specialized Pandell LandWorks Link Tools will enable system integration and quick access to data and documents.
GIS Mapping
A key factor in Pattern’s selection of software was driven by Pandell’s best-in-class integration between its LandWorks land suite and its Esri ® ArcGIS mapping tools for land managers. The tight integration will uniquely enable users to toggle between tabular data and GIS maps, and to view any combination of project attributes on a map, with a simple the click of a button.
System Integration
Pattern’s new land & GIS software suite will be seamlessly integrated to its accounting system and will utilize Pandell’s industry-leading, automated royalty payment calculation engine. These integrations will add transformative value to the company’s process efficiencies and facilitate measurably better data integrity.
Services, Hosting & Support
As part of its Software-as-a-Service business model, Pandell will host and manage Pattern’s web applications and data through its certified cloud hosting services. Pandell will also provide turn-key project services including software implementation, data conversion, user training, and support services.
